McKenna update
McKenna had her first MRI without sedation the day before Thanksgiving. She did great! Unfortunately the news from the scan was not what we wanted to hear. The tumor still looks like it is still growing, very, very slow thankfully. We are giving it another 3 months and scan her again. If the tumor still looks like it is growing we will change her chemo regiment. Many people ask why we don't start the new regiment now. It is a very slow growing tumor and where it is growing will not do any harm. If is were growing toward her optics nerves then we would need to take immediate action. We are blessed with time! So please, keep McKenna in your prayer!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MCKENNA!
McKenna celebrated her 8th birthday at the Young Chefs Academy. The kids had a great time learning how to make pizza! The best part was eating the pizza at the end! McKenna has decided that she wants to be a Chef when she grows up. Therefore she received an Easy-Bake Oven as a gift with lots of fun recipes! We think she will be a great chef as long as she doesn't sample everything she makes! Happy Birthday McKenna!

STABLE
"Stable" that is the official word from the radiologist about McKenna's MRI. The Doctors will review it also to make sure they don't see any changes! So, that is good news anyway. Atleast there are not any obvious changes! Thanks for all your prayers, they are working!

Camp Rainbow Gold
McKenna has been at Camp Rainbow Gold this week! We had the pleasure of dropping McKenna off at camp and meet her camp counselors! If you remember the tv show "90210" or even "saved by the bell" then you would know who Tiffany Amber Theissen is. Well she is one of the counselors there and she just loves McKenna, so we were able to meet her too! The best part of taking McKenna to camp was the motorcycle escort from Hailey to camp. It also included fire engines and police cars. It was amazing there had to be atleast 200 motorcycles, Morgan and I were both touched by all the support that was shown to these children!
Another Camping Adventure!

Angela Call Medical Fund
Note From Angie's parents:
Our family would like to express our appreciation to all of you for your faith and prayers on Angela's behalf following her accident. We have truly felt the Lord's blessing of comfort and strength because of your support and concern. It has been a humbling experience to see the many different ways so many of you have shown your love and support for Angela and our family. Some have expressed a desire to do fundraising or contribute financially. In response to these requests a medical fund account has been set up at U.S. Bank. If you choose to use this fund you can make a check or cash deposit at any U.S. Bank Branch. Checks should be made out to 'Angela Call Medical Fund'.

Alturas Lake
We spent the weekend at Alturas lake. near Stanley Idaho. It was a fun time, we went with some neighborhood friends. We towed the boat up there, although the water was freezing cold it was beautiful! Morgan managed to surf, Jarret and I did a little kneeboarding and Kylie was pulled in the tube!
The first night we were there, we heard a pack of wolves howling and barking. It was a neat sound but also was kind of creepy hearing them. Timber did really well on his first ever campout! There was a deer that wondered by in the evening, at first Timber wasn't to sure about it, by the last night he would sit and watch for the deer to come by to bark at it.

Summer in full swing!
After a busy week we finally had sometime to play! We recently purchased a used boat and took the maiden voyage on Saturday! Thanks to my Brother, Steve, we didn't look to bad putting in and taking the boat out Saturday. Sunday was a little different story, luckily we had our neighbor there to lend a hand! It was nice to sit back, let the wind rush through my hair, close my eyes and relax. We did a little tubing and wakeskating, it was nice to be out!
Lyndsy is home recovering well. It was nice to see her home and out of hospital gowns. She looks great, I heard she was even on the back patio soaking up the sun! Welcome home Lyndsy!

Lyndsy is going home!
" Lyndsy is getting out of the hospital today. She is doing well and ready to break out of this place! She is still sleeping a lot and giving the nurses a run for their money! When the pain meds wear off, she doesn't hold back.
Angie is the same....she has good hours and bad hours. She is responding more and more and seems to be progressing...just not fast enough sometimes. I am sad to leave the hospital without her. We will be back a lot to see her." From Julie (Lyndsy's Mom, my Sister).

Lyndsy Update!
Lyndsy is recovering well! All of her surgeries to fix her leg and clean out her wounds went good. She is learning to walk with a walker and crutches with her physical therapist! We all are hoping that she will come home today!!! When we visited Lyndsy yesterday she was in really good spirits and had her beautiful smile on her face. According to Julie one of the EMTs that helped Lyndsy off the mountain told her that she was lucky to be alive that they don't pull to many off the mountain alive after an accident like that. We are all counting our blessings that Lyndsy is with us and doing well.
Angie is doing better today. Each day is an improvement. She is opening her eyes and making eye contact. She is also responding to commands. The nurse told her to open her eyes, wiggle her fingers and toes, and give a thumbs up and she did them all on the first try. It is a huge relief to see her coming around. Hopefully she will be off the ventilator today! Lyndsy was able to visit Angie, it was an emotional reunion.
Thank you for all your prayers for these girls!

Two girls are taken to the hospital after driving an ATV over a 150 foot ravine near Featherville. Witnesses tell us the girls went over the edge of the ravine at about 3:00 p.m. Saturday. They tell us one girl was unconscious and another was hurt, but was responding to rescue crews.
It took several hours for crews to reach them in the ravine because hospital helicopters couldn't land near the crash site. They had to land at the trailhead in Featherville, and use ATV's with trailers to get them to the helicopters. No word on the their conditions.
This is what the news reported of my Niece Lyndsy on Saturday night, June 21. Lyndsy and her friend Angie were lifeflighted to St. Als hospital. Both girls are recovering well. Lyndsy had a 4 hour surgery the night of the accident to clean up an open wound on her leg and to also put a rod on her broken femur. Angie suffered head trauma and a broken pelvis which she is going in for surgery today.
We are very proud of Lyndsy, she is a very strong girl and we love her very much! She is being moved from ICU today to a regular
hospital room! Please keep Lyndsy and Angie in your prayers for continued good recovery!

McKenna started chemotherapy
McKenna started her first cycle of chemotherapy. Luckily it is an oral medication that I can give to her at home. She has been great with it, so far the only side affect is tiredness. We were prepared to have her sick and feeling yucky but she is tolerating it well, of course this is only half dose she will start the full dose next month. She is a trooper!

New to this!
I thought this would be a fun way to keep in touch with everyone and have a little fun too!
Soccer, dance and gymnastics have consumed our time. It has been fun watching the kids play and learn new skills! This is Kylie's first season of soccer and she is doing well, 9 goals so far!Jarret had his first goal in his last game and some great assists!
(Kylie in red, Jarret in action in blue)
McKenna has been learning some new ballet moves along with tap dance. Both girls really enjoy their gymnastics class too.
I will try to keep this updated with the good, the bad and the ugly at the Randis house!
